ET special correspondent Melissa Rycroft has bravely decided to take on the wacky TV challenge that is "Wipeout," but has she bitten off more than she could chew?
"I was really nervous," admits Melissa. "I knew there was a potential to get hurt even though everybody said there wasn't."
The ABC competition pits 24 thrill-seekers against each other in the world's largest extreme obstacle course designed to provide the most spills, face plants and, of course, wipeouts! The winner earns the title of "Wipeout Champion" and a grand prize of $50,000. The hit summer series returns on Wednesday, May 27.
ET has learned what happened inside the Aspen, CO courtroom today, where Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller appeared related to an alleged domestic violence dispute last Christmas.
Three counts were filed against Sheen -- a felony menacing count and two misdemeanors (3rd degree assault and criminal mischief).
A restraining order barring Sheen and Mueller from being in contact was also lifted Monday. The next court date on the matter is set for March 15.
At attorney for Joe Jackson, the father of the late Michael Jackson, has reportedly referred to the involuntary manslaughter charge against Dr. Conrad Murray as a "slap on the wrist" and says it has caused "great disappointment."
People.com reports that attorney Brian Oxman, who represents the Jackson family patriarch, said of the charge: "This charge is a slap on the wrist…There's great disappointment here. [Conrad Murray] should've been charged with a higher degree of responsibility. What he did was reckless. It was a disregard for human life."
Murray is expected to be arraigned later today, and has denied any wrongdoing connected to the King of Pop's death.

Tuesday night contestants will be put to the test with solo performances and group numbers as the pressure mounts on the "Idol" wannabes to make it to the Top 24, which will be revealed on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Tune in to see who impresses the judges and who buckles under the pressure.
Then on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. on FOX, the Top 12 female semi-finalists take to the "American Idol" stage for the first time to perform live for the judges and America, who will vote for the first time. They will be followed on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 9 p.m., by the Top 12 male semifinalists. Then on Thursday, Feb. 25, the four semifinalists -- two boys and two girls -- with the lowest number of votes will be sent home in a two-hour special "Idol" presentation.
Michael Jackson's former personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was charged on Monday with involuntary manslaughter related to the King of Pop's death last summer.
ET has learned that the court alleged that Dr. Murray "did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson…in the commission of an unlawful act, not amounting to a felony; and in the commission of a lawful act which might have produced death, in an unlawful manner, and without due caution and circumspection."
He is scheduled to be arraigned later today -- and if convicted, Murray could face a possible maximum four-year prison term.
Football fans trumped the finale of "M*A*S*H," making Super Bowl XLIV the most-watched program in television history.
More than 106 million people are estimated to have tuned in to watch the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Up until now, the 1983 "M*A*S*H" finale held the record with 105.97 viewers, the Nielson Company reported to the Associated Press.
Super Bowl viewership took a big jump from last year's game that had an estimated audience of 98.7 million. Leading up to the Super Bowl, feature stories about the Saints' city of New Orleans recovering from Hurricane Katrina and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning returning for a second Super Bowl ring were highly publicized.
"House" takes a look at life at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital through the eyes of Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) tonight -- and ET talks to the actress to find out if she thinks Cuddy will dump Lucas (Michael Weston) and finally get together with House (Hugh Laurie).
"I think he shows up," Lisa answers when asked what Cuddy sees in Lucas. "I think he helps her with her life. He's uncomplicated, very loyal, and has sex with her. I think that those things mean a lot to somebody who's got a world like hers, which can be very overwhelming. The question remains, 'Is that enough?'"
Lisa goes on to say that Cuddy has been alone for a long while because she was chasing House, with whom she has had this long, deep, fascinating, back-and-forth that she can’t seem to steer clear of. Now that House claims to be available, it isn't easy for her to adjust to the idea.
The New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts played for an A-list audience on Super Bowl Sunday! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt joined the likes of Adam Sandler and his 'Grown Ups' costars as well as Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore in participating in the big game festivities.
ET's Kevin Frazier caught up with Sandler, Rob Schneider, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade on the beaches of Miami, Florida as they talked about their guys' weekend. "All of us came to hang with the boys except Schneider who brought his woman," Sandler jokes. The guys come to the big screen with their movie 'Grown Ups' on June 25.

After being apprehended by authorities in the early hours of Saturday morning, "Dancing with the Stars" finalist Warren Sapp appeared in court on Sunday.
Sapp was in Miami Beach to offer commentary for the NFL cable network during Super Bowl XLIV. While out with his girlfriend at the Shore Club Hotel, the two were allegedly involved in an incident according to the Miami Beach Police. The footballer was arrested at 5 a.m. and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
ET followed Sapp as he left his court appearance and drove away in a waiting vehicle.

Jolie and Pitt reside in New Orleans with their six children. Photographed leaving the Sun Life Stadium after the Saints big win, their son Maddox showed his support for his home team by wearing quarterback Drew Brees' No. 9 Saints jersey.
Pitt was spotted with his son Sunday morning departing from Los Angeles and arriving in Miami. The Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in the Super Bowl XLIV.
The arrest affidavit for Warren Sapp, who is seen in the mugshot above, details the alleged argument between the NFL Hall of Famer and his girlfriend, a spat that she says became physically abusive.
Police responded to a domestic battery call on Saturday morning and upon arriving reported that the victim had a swollen right knee and bruises on the back of her neck. The woman says the argument began when she retired to Sapp's hotel room after a night of partying in Miami, Florida. She says Sapp came into the room and pulled her out of the bed and began arguing with her in reference to some guys he saw her talking to earlier in the evening.
According to the police report, the woman says the argument became heated and Sapp choked her and then threw her on the couch. The report also states he again grabbed her by the shirt and neck and threw her back down.
Aussie actor Sam Worthington is getting plenty of screen time.
According to Variety, the quickly budding star has signed onto 'Texas Killing Fields,' a murder mystery. Based on a true story, the plot centers on two police officers trying to solve 20 years worth of disappearances and homicides in the industrial wastelands surrounding refineries. This is quite an undertaking because they are investigating up to 60 victims.
Sam landed the role of a homicide detective who, working with a detective from New York, embarks on a mission to find the killers. Filming begins in April in Louisiana, Variety reports.

Sandra, who's nominated for Best Actress for her role in 'The Blind Side,' revealed whether she's been contacted by designers about an Oscar-night dress -- and she got candid about her preparations for glamorous events like the Academy Awards.

The executive producer of the "Late Show with David Letterman" opens up about how Jay Leno and Letterman managed to star in the same Super Bowl commercial and what they're exchange was like while filming the spot.
Rob Burnett tells the New York Times that the idea to film a Super Bowl party with Oprah Winfrey sitting between the late night rivals was Letterman's idea. The commercial was to promote the "Late Show with David Letterman," airing weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
“Dave wrote the bit himself,” Burnett disclosed. “He just thought: it’s the Super Bowl, you’re supposed to entertain people.”

Just weeks before Jay Leno is scheduled to return to "The Tonight Show," the comedian appeared in a Super Bowl commercial with his late night rival David Letterman and another renowned talk show host.
"This is the worst Super Bowl party ever," Letterman exclaims as the camera pans to reveal that he is seated on a couch with Oprah Winfrey and Leno.
"He's just saying that cause I'm here," Leno bites back.
